Water Supply Schemes

Water is an important resource which contributes significantly to the development of a region as well as ensuring productive and healthy population. The Firm has successfully undertaken the design and construction supervision of several dams, Intake works, water treatment works as well as transmission and distribution systems throughout Kenya.

Sanitation Schemes

The Sewerage and Waste Water Treatment Services provided by MIBP include master planning, feasibility studies, detailed design and construction supervision. MIBP has proven capability to carry out process engineering for containment and conveyance systems as well as waste water treatment facilities. MIBP team of Structural Engineers have unparralled reputation in design and construction supervision to a wide array of structures. The Firm’s experience includes office tower blocks, industrial developments, highway bridges, structures for urban infrastructure including water storage tanks, residential structures and commercial centres. Environmental Studies

With the growing concern and need for Environmentally Sustainable Projects, MIBP has amassed considerable expertise in conducting Environmental Impact Assessments, Studies of Land Use, Terrestrial Ecology, Limnology, Ornithology, Environmental Monitoring Plans, social impacts and mitigating proposals for Infrastructural Projects. These studies have been conducted in accordance to Governments and major Donor Agency Guidelines, Safeguards and Policies.

Road Infrastructure

Over the past 50 years, the Firm has carried out Planning, Design and Construction Supervision of over 500 km of roads varying from gravel standard rural access roads to heavily trafficked tarmac highways following the latest pavements designs. MIBP has also dealt with Management of Road Maintenance Organizations, establishment of Management Systems, assistance in procurement of appropriate plants and materials.
