Established in 1968, Mangat I.B. Patel (MIBP) Limited, provides Engineering and Environmental Consultancy Services for Development of Sustainable Environment.
With over 50 years’ experience, MIBP has continued to execute planning, design and management of some of the largest, most challenging and complex infrastructure projects within Eastern Africa which include Municipal Water Supply and Sanitation Systems, Building and Structural Engineering Projects, Rural / Urban Roads and Drainage, Environmental Studies, and other Infrastructure Projects.
MIBP provides services ranging from planning, feasibility studies, detailed design to construction supervision of Multi-purpose Dams, Municipal and Institutional Water and Waste Water Treatment Plants, Rural and Urban Water Supply Intake Structures, Distribution and Sewerage Systems, Office Buildings, Tall Skyscrapers, through to Multiple Housing, and Transportation / Roads Projects. MIBP’s innovative design can be seen in the region’s emerging economies.
The firm is managed by seven Directors & Technical Directors and supported by over 70 professionals with a wide spectrum of expertise. Our experienced multidisciplinary teams ensure that MIBP’s excellent technical solutions are delivered with a focus on engineering a sustainable future.
MIBP is registered with various Government Ministries and Regional Development Authorities to provide Engineering consultancy services in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. The company is also licensed as a Firm of EIA Experts with the National Environmental and Management Authority (NEMA) in Kenya.
Funding for our projects is provided by international multi-lateral finance agencies such as the World Bank and African Development Bank (ADB) as well as bilateral agencies including the French Development Agency (AFD), the German Development Bank (KfW), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and others in conjunction with the project proponent governmental agencies.
