Eng. Ratna Hirani attained his elementary education at Nairobi Technical School, He has a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, IIT, Bombay. Eng. Hirani has 45 years’ experience in design, construction supervision and quality control of structural engineering projects in East Africa, mainly in Kenya.
He has handled structural design and construction supervision of hotels, lodges, high-rise, commercial, residential and institutional building categories as well as reservoirs, water retaining structures, bridges and grain handling facilities.
He is a Registered Engineer with EBK, Member of IEK, Chartered Engineer, U.K., Member of Structural Engineers, UK and a Fellow with Architectural Association of Kenya.
