Eng. Nandu Hirani

Eng. Nandu Hirani was born in 1971 and schooled at Jamhuri High School and Oshwal High School before joining University of Nairobi from where he graduated in BSc. Civil Engineering (Upper Second Class Honours) in 1994. He worked in Nairobi for a year before proceeding to University of Newcastle, UK for his Postgraduate Studies in Structural Engineering and graduated with a Distinction in 1996.

On completion of his MSc., he returned to Kenya and joined GIBB Africa Ltd as a Graduate Engineer as and rose to being a Director in 2009. In 2013 he became an Independent Consultant and worked for various International Consultants / Contractors on Infrastructure Projects in various sectors. He joined Mangat I.B. Patel (MIBP) Limited in 2020 as a Director.

Nandu has an MBA from Strathmore Business School and also attended several Courses on Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), Project Finance and Project Management. He is a Professional Engineer with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK), an Accredited Trainer for the APMG PPP Foundation Course, Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

He has worked on numerous Infrastructure Projects in Africa and beyond with inputs at different stages of the Projects.
