Eng. Eric I. Muriithi

Director

Eng. Eric I. Muriithi was born in 1978 and completed secondary education at Strathmore School in Nairobi before joining the Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology from where he graduated with a B.Sc. Civil Engineering (First Class Honours) in 2001.

Eng Muriithi joined Mangat I.B. Patel & Partners in 2002 and worked for a year before proceeding to the University of Melbourne, Australia, where he attained a Masters Degree in Water Resources Management. He re-joined MIBP in 2005 as a Design Engineer, steadily progressing to his current position as a Director in the Firm.

Eng Muriithi has been involved in numerous Water Supply and Sanitation Projects for major towns and cities in Kenya at all stages from Master Planning, Feasibility Studies, Detailed Design and Construction Management. He was in involved in preparation of Water Supply Master Plans for Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret and Murang’a Counties (up to years 2035 – 2045) amongst other Key Projects. He is registered with the Engineer’s Board of Kenya as a Professional Engineer. He has undertaken Professional Courses related to Water Supply in Kenya and Israel and a Construction Adjudication course with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
