Mombasa Waterfront

Mama Ngina Waterfront is a public space developed on Mama Ngina Drive overlooking the entrance to Kilindini Harbour.

The development, completed at end of 2019 consists of a new public promenade stretching over 2km along the seafront with new kiosks to accommodate existing informal traders in the area. Facilities in the project include a 1000 – seat open-air amphitheatre, monumental gateways, sea-facing parking areas, major public squares, including presidential square, cultural centre and ablution facilities.
